Geordie
Jack, Dado Duncan and Bryan Coghill were recognised as the front line of British
country band Colorado, for over two decades. The guys have headlined
festivals in no less than 25 countries, including the USA, Middle East, Germany,
Switzerland, Denmark, Norway, Czechoslovakia, and last year at one of Australias
best known festivals in Tamworth. The success of that initial Australian
trip with the current line-up, has resulted in a return visit due to public demand
following national TV coverage.
They have to-date recorded numerous albums, many containing their own material.
One song Making Friends written by Geordie Jack has since been picked
up and recorded by many other artists throughout Europe. Geordie, Dado and
Bryan have previously recorded tracks with major American Country singers
such as George Hamilton IV, Johnny Russell and Kathy Mattea. Kathy, who
sang on one of Geordies self-penned songs, was voted CMAs Female Country
Singer of the Year.
Over the years, the guys have appeared on over 200 television shows, and enjoyed
international radio coverage. As Colorado, they were voted Best British
Band for nine consecutive years by the British Country Music Association.

They appeared several times on Nashvilles
Grand Ole Oprey, and played Londons Royal Albert Hall.
While Geordie Dado and Bryan were travelling on the international circuit,
Geordies sons were making their own in-roads in the music business.
Kevin was the prime mover in a young band that won a National Talent Competition
run by Lloyds TSB called Rock-school.
That success brought television acclaim and recognition in the form
of a gold disc, and the judges included well-known names such as Rick Parfitt
of Status Quo and Toyah Wilcox.
The combined experience the band has built up over the years
is evident in the quality of their performances.
A recent change of strategy means that they are now more
selective about live appearances, to ensure that consistently high
standard of performance. Above all else, Geordie Jack and Caledonia aim
to please their audiences.
