Darren Coghill

I'm Darren Coghill. I'm from a small village in the north of Scotland, about 2 miles after wick, called Staxigoe. Going by the name and location most of you will have put 2 and 2 together, but for those of you that haven't caught on, I'm Bryan's Son, the drummer.

I'm 16 years of age, and for that reason I'm still at school. Like most other teenagers, I hate school and can't wait to leave it. Unfortunately, my sister (Jenna, 18) tells me that I'm only starting the hard part of it. Anyway, over the past year Trevor has started a new job and he couldn't make many gigs. From there I was offered a shot and was delighted to say "yes".

I have been playing drums for a total of 10 years. For the whole ten years I have been playing the Pipe Band snare drum and been in the pipe band for the last 5 or so years. During the last 6 years my dad bought me a drum kit, so practise, practise, practise until I was just about good enough to join a band. About 2 years ago I managed to join a local band with some mates, playing in local pubs and at parties. I am really over the moon to be playing with the band because the 'Crack' is good, their cool guys and they were the first kind of music I ever really listened to. Since joining I have been to some pretty cool places and met some really nice people and I hope to see many more of both.
